Inexpensive exotic restaurant. The main course was very tasty, the only deduction was in the mixed starter plate, which I have had more generously and better topped elsewhere.
Hilariously bad food and service - hilarious if for the fact that I hadn't felt so ill after a meal that might well have been warmed up from a can from how oily and tasteless it was. Tasteless...also the word for the owner-crass jokes, inability to take even a hint of questioning and most definitely hugely insecure at having an actual indian eating his most definitely not indian cuisine. If I hadn't felt so sick afterwords I would feel bad for him.
The food wasn't freshly thawed, the lamb was totally cold inside. There weren't any vegetables. I don't eat there anymore
Very tasty food in a small, cozy restaurant.
Were disappointed. The food was partly cold, it took a long time, little was spiced and the portions were rather small. Outside, you don't sit comfortably.
Very delicious food and a very nice host who also takes time for his guests and talks to you.
Nice service and delicious food, but the portions were unfortunately very small.
The waitresses are always easy to deal with and very accommodating. This makes us thoroughly satisfied with every visit. Decorations on the tables and in the entire restaurant are decent and aesthetic. The toilet is constantly clean and all in all the restaurant gives a charming impression. We didn't have to wait long for the food and drinks. That was great as we had a big cravings that evening and we think the prices are completely ok.
Very nice and delicious!
Super delicious food and a very nice host! We had a nice evening and would love to come back :)
Very friendly owner and a great selection of food that stands out from what you would normally expect from an Indian restaurant and has sparked our enthusiasm for Iranian cuisine. The walnut and pomegranate sauce is a dream and even tastes good to our little daughter, who otherwise hardly likes sauces. A real blessing - also and especially in Corona times, where everyone can certainly tolerate a little friendliness and exoticism.
Very personal, very good! I have now been to Parsifal four times and have always been satisfied. My curiosity about the interesting dishes, especially from Iran, was also worthwhile. It tastes really great. What I like about the meal is how personally the boss deals with his guests. He is very interested in where his guests come from, how they came to Parsifal and satisfaction is also asked politely. Not everyday nowadays. But since every guest is treated so nicely here, it may be that you have to wait a little longer than usual for the food (not always). So bring time. I am happy to accept this food and service and am just happy that the Parsifal the hectic everyday life finds no place. Give it a try!
The selection of dishes is varied and the ambience is very nice. In terms of taste, the dishes could not compete with other Indian restaurants in Karlsruhe. The chicken tikka was not so tender and the rice was unfortunately very bland. The chai tea had a strange taste of its own and tasted slightly rancid. Overall, we would not eat here again.
The best Iranian restaurant in Karlsruhe. The owner is very friendly and invites you to culture in Iran. Also suitable for celebrations and festivities.
Great food and super friendly host. Very personal and pleasant atmosphere in an individual ambience. In short, everything went well and I will come back. Thanks for the great evening says Matthias.
Nice ambience and friendly service. However, you have to bring time with you. If you get involved and start the visit relaxed and enjoy the evening, it is very pleasant. If you are with children and they are hungry for food, this is unfavorable - you just have to know and prepare for it. Coconut milk with pineapple is highly recommended. The portions are designed so that you can create a starter and main course. Or as an alternative to the starter, a dessert.
Terribly unfriendly innkeeper. Very long waiting times. Portions are quite small.
The food is excellent, wide selection of vegetarian dishes, but also for meat lovers there is much on the menu. Nice ambience, small terrace and very courteous owner who responds to the wishes of the guests. Do you have to remember? We will be back definitely.
The food is terrible and took ages to serve. Conveniently marketed as a mix of Iranian and Indian, so they can pass any rubbish as food. Avoid.
Very tasty, good value for money, very friendly owner!
Iranian Taste in Food
We have eaten here often. The food is always delicious and the chef friendly! Some reviews refer to the length of the wait. All I can say is that fresh food takes time! I finally go to the restaurant to talk in peace and not to eat the food.
Well done Karim
Nice place, with cozy environment, delicious food and warm reception. Every single dish that I taste is always tasteful and the owner is externally friendly and warm heart.
Not very persian environment Food not bad but for sure not worth the price.
Frienfly owner.
The Best of the rest!!!!
Good taste and price is reasonable.
Good food, good quantity, nice place and great ambiance. Love the veg food here.
Great place! Great food! Really nice host! Lunch prices are also really competitive... no complaints whatsoever
My husband and I know the Indian cuisine and the middle eastern cuisine very well. Well how to put it : Parsifal has nothing to do with it. The food is fade and has almost no taste at all. If you're looking for that kick of Indian or middle eastern spices it's not at Parsifal that you'll find it. What also got on my nerves a bit is the kind of bread they serve. I think they call it "Persian bread" or "arabic bread" (I am not sure) but don't imagine anything out of the ordinary because it's that Lebanese bread anyone could buy from any Turkish store ( One pack contains around 8 round Lebanese bread and it costs around 2euros ) . We got one piece that they literally just cut it and put it on a plate and you eat dry with no sauce or anything else. This restaurant is a joke if you're looking for real Indian or middle eastern food.
They claim that their restaurant is Indian-Persian, but as an Iranian I have to say that the food that they serve is not even close to Persian dishes. I went there with some of my non-Iranian colleagues to introduce our tasty dishes to them but I was embarrassed from the food quality and the service there. I hope that nobody goes there for tasting Persian food, they even don't use the ingredients of the real Persian food (like walnuts and pomegranate sauce in "Fesenjoon"). The owner was also rude and bothering by giving some excuses about the food quality. At the end, I have to say that I had serious digesting problems after leaving there due to the high amount of Indian curry that they used in their "Persian dish".
It's not a Persian restaurant neither Indian. in Their menu they have Persian food but it taste just like curry and doesn't have any similarity to Persian food. we ordered 7 different dishes with my friend it suppose to be Persian but whatever it was, the taste was so bad and not at all fresh. And the owner was so disrespectful when we claimed that it isn't Persian.
Friendly staff and good service however the food was a little on the bland side for my tastes
